About Us

Tollgate is a family run business which means there is a member of staff on site 24 hours a day.

All the kennels at Tollgate have been newly built by Ryan only being completed in the summer of 2005. They all have covered outside runs, raised beds and heating. All kennels are secure and spacious, whilst still having that homely feel. Just supply your pets own bedding and they will have the holiday of their life.

Bedtime treats are given to all pets and we pride ourselves on an extremely high level of hygiene.

All of the dogs are fed on Mera Dog with tinned food, fresh tripe or mince for flavour. Any dogs are on special or medical diets can be catered for if the owner supplies the food.

Medication can be given at no extra charge, and if any medical attention is needed whilst in our care your own vet will be contacted first as he/she has your pets medical history. If they are unobtainable then our own vet will be contacted.

Dogs are exercised daily and have individual care and attention. We even offer a grooming service for that special pampered pooch or pet. Please see Karen for grooming fees as this depends on length of coat and size of pet. Nails clipped is £5. Special kennels are available at the front of the house for that special pup or OAP dog to ensure the extra attention that they know and love.

It is our aim to provide and friendly, professional service to both guests and owners which is second to none.

Here at Tollgate we always aim to return your dogs bedding freshly washed however during winter months we cannot always gurantee your washed beds will be totally dry. This is at no extra charge.
